The BullionCoin gold-back and silver-backed cryptocurrencies have just launched their new website.
www.bullioncoin.com
CAUTION: If you try to sign up as a "PRIME MARKET INVESTOR," after entering your name and address, etc., you are asked to check your preference: For Silver or Gold... AND Your MINIMUM INVESTMENT AMOUNT...
$400,000 MINIMUM for GOLD
$250,000 MINIMUM for SILVER
I guess that I'm not going to be a "Prime Market Investor."
You can, however, sign up (to express your interest) as a Secondary Marketplace Investor.
They will then, "be in touch with you to confirm the launch of the secondary market."
RMG Gold from The Royal Mint, along with Bullioncoin, really have my interest. I still think having some gold in personal possession is safer. I don't see how any unbacked crypto will survive against a true gold/silver backed crypto. Maybe because gold/silver backed cryptos are centralized and you must rely on the honesty of the gold holdings of the mint.
