Today, if I ask whom, everybody says that love the forest, nature, and animals. Although we prefer to live in large and vibrant cities, I don't think there is a single person to say otherwise, even though we are happy with it. But nature is like something we all inherited for us. We don't have to do anything for the forest we go camping with ourselves, and no, leaving the campsite clean doesn't mean "doing something." I'm talking about that we don't have to do anything for the formation and continuation of the forest. I guess that's why we don't know their values.
I have followed the fire in California for the last week. We have seen a similar one in Greece a while back. In fact, we lose thousands of hectares of forests around the world every year with trees and all that beautiful life, and we're not putting anything in those place to recover. However, if we do something today to recover these forests, we cannot afford to see it. That's why I made a small decision on my behalf and aimed to plant at least 1,000 trees until I die. Maybe not all in the same place, perhaps I can't do it all at the same time, maybe I can't stitch them all in person, but I will plant 1,000 trees in a way until I die and bring my own little forest to the future.
So how am I supposed to reach this goal? I want to sew each tree one by one, but I know it's not very realistic. Also, monitoring of the priority areas and working for these areas is much wiser than randomly planted trees. That's why I've researched organizations that can do this for me and support me both financially and voluntarily. I'll leave a small list down in case you want to help. Maybe we could build a beautiful Steemit forest together. Wouldn't it be nice?
One Tree Planted
Great organization! They're planting a tree for you for a dollar. They work in many parts of the world, but recently they have a separate campaign for California. They say: At the start of 2018, it was estimated that 129 million trees could have been restored. Why not have one of these 129 million trees?
International Tree Foundation
Take a look at this organization working to increase forests in England and Kenya.
Trees for The Future
In Africa, forests are not only about protecting nature but also about protecting people and the economy. This organization provides space, trees, and facilities to enable people in Africa to do farming. Thus, both nature and life are growing.
English is not my native language, so if you share with me when you see a mistake in my post, I would appreciate it.
