Mark Carney - Fiat devotee and 'No Coiner' recently spoke about crypto currencies.
However the media appears to have misinterpreted his remarks. Claiming that many 'crypto currencies' are overpriced is not unreasonable.
Luckily he thinks they should be held to the 'same standards' as other financial assets. Which I interpret to mean that, as with fiat they:
- should be controlled by mysterious cabals of private dynasties
- they should be monitored closely when used by the plebs but slosh around anonymously between the whales
- the biggest holders should never be held to account
- arms, drug and people trafficking should be a crucial part of the 'dark' or 'anonymous' aspects of the trade.
- the moral standards of the planet should be directly influenced to benefit those with the greatest holdings
Isn't it lucky that Carney wants to treat crypto like his beloved fiat.
