Could you help define secular trend? Any relation to timing? Thank you

Thanks for this great question @kywt! One simple way to understand the “Secular” trend is that it is one larger degree above the basic long-term trend. For example, within a SECULAR (super-long-term) trend, there may be numerous bull and bear markets that comprise it, regardless of whether or not the “Secular Trend” is bullish or bearish. I hope that helps.
