The world's oldest shipwreck found is 2400 years old
A little more than 1,600 meters deep in the Black Sea, a Greek shipwreck was found. Its age is around 2400 years old, making it the oldest ship in the world. It was discovered during the study of the Black Sea depths when the divers were near the Bulgarian coast. Since there is no oxygen in the depths of the Black Sea, the wreck has remained in excellent condition. Archaeologists intend to explore the ship closer to gain insight into shipping and life at that time.
