I learned a lesson yesterday about transferring money from Steemit.com to Bittrex. I'm still a newbie to the cryptocurrency world and have made a mistake here and there. Just yesterday, I wanted to see how to transfer SBD from my Steemit wallet to Bittrex and apparently I didn't realize there's a coin called Steem Dollars. So when I transferred my SBD from Steemit, I transferred to my Steem wallet in Bittrex, not SBD in Bittrex. Well, I guess the transaction went from Steemit.com to nowhere. It's a good thing I only transferred $62 and change.
are you sure? cause I see other people transfer SBD to bittrex.
Ater the fact I earned that you can transfer SBD to Bittrex, but you have to choose SBD in Bittrex. I chose Steem which is apparent not the same coin. I didn't know there was an actually coin called SBD. I thought it was some sort of lingo Steemit.com uses on its site only.
ok I understood, maybe you can send them a message and they will give it back to you as there is a transaction proving that you made that mistake.
