I haven't seen a man that broken in my life! He went back home with a public transportation,as his official car was taken from him,and he cried for days.
Shola afterwards withdrew;I mean from EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY.He would pick calls only when he felt like it,then I sensed a problem,a need,I meant
A need for someone to be close to him;a need for someone not to just ask him "how are you Shola" but to say "Shola,we are all humans and we can't live or do things alone,so anytime you need someone to open up to,I'll be there".After few months,Shola agreed to see a therapist and then he went ahead to see one.Thank God Mr Tayo is both a therapist and a Pastor,so he was well equipped to help my friend.
After about a year,Shola was ready to face life again;he was ready to give love a third shot and this time,he got it right.Yippee💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Tonight,on my way back from work,I stopped at Shola's apartment. His wife and his children were happy to receive me.He then told me stories of how he was at the verge of being suicidal after falling into depression due to the overwhelming effects of all that happened to him in the year 2011,about 7 years ago.
Shola saw me off to my car and on my way back home,I kept smiling and muttering these words....WHAT IF I DIDN'T PUSH BEYOND HELLO
Wow! What if!
We all should be one another's keeper.
Yes,we should!
