They both won MVP awards. It takes several great players to win Superbowls. Sharpe, Davis, Zimmerman , Elway.....four of our five Hall of Fame players were on those teams. It was more than just Elway....and more than just Davis. If Steve Atwater gets in the HOF, the it's five players from those teams.

Without TD they don't come close though. They were good teams, but in that era, he was the player that took them over the top, that's all I'm saying.
