RAB has arrested four people from different districts including Dhaka for spreading such rumors on the social media that 'Padma bridge will be a man's head'.
ASP Mizanur Rahman, Senior Assistant Director of Legal and Media Wing of the RAB headquarters, confirmed the information on Friday.
He said that the RAB-1's cyber-monitoring cell recently identified a news portal called Newseye24.Com. Observing the activities of the news portal, it is seen that the news portal has been spreading rumors on various important issues of the state and has been carrying out anti-law activities including spreading fear among the masses.
More recently, the construction of the Padma Bridge will take the heads of the people. An unfounded rumor was posted from the news portal that people are spraying their heads from different places in the country through the spray. The news has become widely viral on social media and created panic in the public.
