The boxing world is in shock to learn that one of boxing's top prospects, Felix "El Diamante" Verdejo, was critically injured during an accident while riding his motorcycle on Road PR-3 in Rio Grande, P.R. just a few minutes ago.
Preliminary Police reports indicate that he was transported to the ER of Puerto Rico's Medical Center in San Juan.
I will update the info on this post as soon as we learn more of this terrible situation.
Update 7:40 EST - I've been informed that Verdejo has suffered some kind of head injury and lacerations to his body. He appears to be in stable condition for now.
