Six things strong women don’t care about

They aren’t afraid to be themselves
A life lived being anything other than your true self is a life not truly lived. You have to be true to yourself. Be you and no one else, and the best possible version of yourself, at that.
They don’t care about the past
What’s done is done. There’s no changing history. It’s better to live in the moment and focus on where you can actually make a difference – the here and now. Let the past stay in the past!
They don’t worry about what other people think
Being yourself means doing it no matter what people think. Some people will always try and bring you down and tear you apart, and it’s up to you to have a skin thick enough to shrug it off. By the same token, though, it’s important to listen to constructive criticism and to work on improving yourself – sometimes others can see things about yourself that you can’t. Learning when to take on board advice from well-meaning people and when to ignore unhelpful, toxic people who only want to bring you down is something every person should take seriously.
They don’t care about social networks – they live for the real world
Knowing when and when not to care about how you represent your life online is one of the most important things to do in this day and age. Strong women usually don’t let themselves get caught up in the online highlight reel. Instead, they focus on what’s real.
Strong women don’t need anybody
They know that the key to happiness is to be happy on your own. Needing someone to fill that void means that you’re never truly happy with just your own company. It’s only once you’ve learned how to be happy alone that you’re able to have a healthy, lasting relationship with someone who’s learned likewise.
They know they don’t need to be nice all the time
Being nice is great until you come face to face with someone who couldn’t care less about being nice. Then you need to be mean. ‘Speak softly and carry a big stick’. Always be ready to stand up for and to protect yourself when necessary.
Part of being a strong woman, or a strong person, is knowing when to put yourself first and when to look out for others. Learning to balance these things is key to living a fulfilling life where you’re no push over and no doormat, but still full of love and happiness for yourself, others, and life as a whole.1421079841_700916_1421080682_noticia_normal.jpg
