Do you use Brave browser?
The Brave browser has been out for a little while now and I was curious how it's been doing. Has it's user base been growing?
I found an old blog post from Jul 12, 2018 on basicattentiontoken.org that stated at that point in time Brave had passed 3 million monthly active users, then in January of this year they passed 5.5 million monthly active users and had a total of 28,000 verified publishers.
I'm not sure what their monthly active user numbers are up to now, but I did find a few stats about publishers. Here are some stats I found at https://batgrowth.com
By the looks of it, Brave is doing very well! I have been using Brave browser for several months now and I would definitely recommend it over any other browser. I would especially recommend it to any Chrome user because it feels very similar, it's fast as lightning, you can earn crypto (BAT), AND you have the ability to block unwanted ads, trackers, and scripts!
Brave has a long ways to go in terms of competing worldwide with more established browsers but they're off to a fantastic start and growing fast and made even more strides now with their move into a mobile version of Brave. Brave has inserted itself into an extremely competitive industry and is making big moves.
With their compatibility with various plugins and crypto related projects, I think Brave has a real shot at taking some of Chrome's users in the browser wars! Time will tell!

Haha! Yeah it's a great feature that's native / built into Brave. It's also a very fast browser and the fact that they embraced crypto (BAT) from the start is also a reason to appreciate this browser. They are certainly forward thinking!
@plaid, I agree. I like what Brave is doing too. I am very curious where their growing user base is coming from. I would like to know what browsers people are leaving to switch to Brave? Who is Brave taking from most? I suspect it might be Chrome.
