RE: Bloodied and beaten... Eubank Jr proves he is a warrior, but no World-Class boxer (yet)

in #boxing7 years ago

Yeah, he can definitely rebuild and i hope he does. Eubank jr is an exciting fighter and has that bad guy character that seems to be missing from boxing at the moment, someone you love to hate, but at the same time you admire the skill and talent and enjoy tuning in too watch. I hope this fight has humbled him to a degree, not in a way that it changes his boxing persona but rather in his approach to training and preparation for fights.

Hope he does it right this time and builds himself up with some really good quality experienced opponents that he can beat, but that will cause him trouble and force him to adapt and that will show him the things he needs to work on. Maybe someone like Andy lee, who because of his style would give him all sorts f problems, but andy is past his best now and on his way down so it would be a good scalp.

I believe Andy Lee announced his retirement a couple of days a go but that would have been a great fight! Eubank Jr is going to have to take a couple of steps down now to progress with his career in the long run, but he is always exciting to watch that's for sure!

Yeah, your right, he did retire. I just looked it up. Probably the best decision for him.
