Jonathan Haggerty is a One Championship muay thai athlete from the UK who is scheduled to face Amir Naseri on August 26th 2022, Jonathan is known for his incredible technique whether it be kicking, elbows, clinch, knees and his often overlooked boxing technique.
Jonathan is competing as an alternate in the first flyweight muay thai tournament after having to pull out of of his initial quarter-final bout due to kidney problems experienced whilst cutting weight, fast-forward a few months and One championship have put together an alternate bout so fans still have hope of seeing the Haggerty vs Rodtang trilogy in all its glory.
One Championship have done well to put together such an intriguing set of match-ups such as Rodtang vs Savvas and Superlek vs Goncalves which are the upcoming semi-final bouts, Jonathan will likely face all these competitors multiple times at some point in his career, so if it doesn't happen during this tournament it will more than likely happen further down the road.
