Yes he did, but he was a brilliant boxer and was extremely hard to beat in his prime. He remained unbeaten for quite awhile even though he fought top-notch competition. I've been a boxing fan all my life but wish more of today's boxers were willing to embrace challenges. I understand that boxing is a business and fighters need to make the most amount of money possible during their short careers, but I do feel that some of today's boxers are unduly risk averse.
