I haven't seen Mayweather fight because I haven't watched a boxing match in a long time. I have seen McGregor fight though and I believe he has some real power. That being said, can he box? MMA fighting style is a lot different than boxing which was proven when James Toney tried to fight Randy Courture inside the octagon. I think if it would have been a boxing match the result would have been with Toney. I would like to see McGregor win but Mayweather has done this his whole life and the only thing he has to change is his opponent. McGregor has to learn a whole new discipline. Even if he has boxed before he hasn't fought world class boxers. I don't think this PPV will be any different than any of Mayweathers other fights which is long and boring (so I have been told). As a MMA fan I will root for McGregor but I think Mayweather has this one.
