I really enjoy my deck as it gives me a level place to be outdoors on my scooter without tracking dirt back into the house on my wheels!

Good point. The deck was here when we moved in. It was okay but the weather made it very slippery and it felt a little dangerous. Several people slipped on it so it had to go.
It was handy for astrophotography though? 😵
