Boudoir Photography Part 1 [NSFW]

As a photographer you visualize a perfect shot: perfect model, perfect scenery, perfect lighting, in hopes of transmitting your minds view of the artistic interpretation of your idea. In order to do so, every detail must fall into place. One of the most fascinating subjects in photography is naked photography. There are many categories in which we can classify naked photography, from partially naked, erotic photography to porn, we can see a broad spectrum of photography, but somewhere along the middle we can attach the category of boudoir photography.

Boudoir photography, in a sense, is an erotic, sensual picture in which the photographer captures the beauty of the subject with a twist of sexuality.

Boudoir is French for a woman's private room or bedroom, or in photography terms, a bedroom, hotel or somewhere that creates an intimate setting for classy and romantic image. The purpose of the picture is to rediscover the raw sexuality that every woman possess and demonstrate that every woman is beautiful in their own way. Many woman get the pictures for themselves because of a recent plastic surgery, to demonstrate to themselves that “they still got it”, to remember themselves how they were when they get older, as a gift for their boyfriend, girlfriend or significant other, for a magazine, as a fantasy or simply to have the experience of having their picture taken by a professional photographer, what ever the case there are some elements to consider as a photographer and some other elements to consider as a model.
