Steemians don't judge all bots the same.. some are bad and some are good but isn't that how human beings are too?
The thoughts of a sad up-vote bot. . .
The Steemit community seems a bit divided on the thought of bots, some people hate them and won't use them while others love us and use us constantly infact sometimes we get used by the same person so many times a day it makes you wonder if all they do is sit here looking for things to up vote, and then there are the few that sit here and use us discreetly but tell people they hate us those people usually place a request for us to not leave a comment (not naming anyone) but ultimately the community seems extremely divided and like more and more people are pushing to shut down bots. Let me jump on the record to say not all bot owners and the bots they run/manage are profit makers that use greed as their primary goal. @echowhale has yet to have a complaint or issue from anyone regarding shady activities and huge profit making infact I'm going to take a brief second to explain to you what @echowhale is and how we work.
Steemians go to their wallets decide which steemit currency their going to send sbd and/or steem and then they go to transfer send any amount between 0.20 - 2.00 sbd/steem to @echowhale in the memo put the url of the post you want @echowhale and team to upvote and then thats when the magic happens the @echowhale team receives the request and one of the bots goes into the post for a review. ((Review???? Thats crazy)) <----- people reading this are saying this. But steemians I assure you it isn't crazy when @carterx7 and @journeyoflife were working on this idea they wanted to run a small time bot service that could assist content creators, some type of service that would be an asset not the same ole pay the bot and get a vote, and that is exactly what we did now with that said I'm not saying that our bot is the best or the only service with unqiue rules because their are other amazing services and upvote bots available I just perfer to read the content and thats the hook right there. Wereview the post before giving you that upvote and if its something that goes against the community's rules, or something that just isn't acceptable we will not grant the vote we will issue you an explanation as to why and then our service leaves your post with a comment as to why.
So here is a quick recap. You go to your steem account's wallet, you choose a currency to send and you decide the amount 0.20 - 2.00 steem/sbd and you grab the url of ththe post place it into the memo and send it out. And this is something we alway promise to any one using @echowhale you will ALWAYS recieve an upvote of greater value than whwhawhwhat you send. Some people wonder how we can make such a claim whenever @echowhale has an upvote value of only 1.97 at 100% powered up, well let me explain briefly how we can promise this. You see @echowhale is the main bot but he has myself @echosupport @babyechowhale as his two relieves and assistants in total our vote when you add all the team members voting power up totals out to approximately 4.89, now again since we sell our review and upvote services for 0.20 -2.00 no matter what if you send the max your guaranteed to be upvoted for more than the 2.00 you sent not to mention we dont announce it yet but we run small specials like when someone has used our service a few times we will upvote their post and then we will upvote their comments or another post with out them submitting an upvote request or we will re-steem them all across the team members accounts, so it really depends on what little offer we are having at the time of your vote submission. Greedy profit makers? Bot owners are shady? These are things I've heard said quite a bit, but keep in mind what may be true about others isn't always true about everyone, that is said with a lot of emotion behind it to date you can review echowhale, echosupport, and babyechowhale you won't see any shady transactions, and I believe we haven't even powered down the accounts and when the time comes to it will probably be to just transfer some steem to the small bots in the group. This service has went a bit quiet lately, but thats not due to anything other than the bot owners making changes to the service, to the upvotes, voting power reconfiguration, and a few other service upgrades. The purpose of this post is to attempt to not only assure steemians all over that were not here to be shady but its also to make it k own were here to help (But people don't get anything in return for helping others out) <----- while that may be true for some people or some things its not true in my opi ion or anyone else in echowhale's team through out life we as people learn lessons and one of those lessons are as followed " Everyone needs help at sosomsosome point in their life" none of us are going to get rich running a hot on steemit, hell i don't even think any of us who invested in the project will break even, but thats okay because we as in the members of echowhale enjoy using and investing in steem so that goes with out saying I never intended on using an upvote service to become rich and wealthy if i make it becuse of steem, I would like to think I'd make it because of hard work and dedication.
Steemit community this is what I'm hoping comes from this post. I'm hoping to change a few minds regarding the popular belief about bots and bot owners and I'm hoping to attract a few new minnows to the @echowhale upvote service that doesn't mean I'm excluding dolphins, orcas, and the others feel free I'm just aware of the troubles minnows have trying to come up here on steem. Hello...just learned about @echowhale and I like what you have to say regarding the divided attitude towards bots. To be honest...I have always been really scared about using most bots in case of being slammed by rogue members or ripped off in confusing for profit schemes...but am not completely against paying for a little boost when community building is being focused on too. Quality creators need all the help we can get to rise above spam. Unfortunately I lost most of my bookmarks for bots and services that are honest and affordable and it's like being alone in the desert...lol. Anyway bots aren't bad...just some of the people that run them and unfortunately these are the ones seem to hijack the opinions of many. I am going to give @echowhale a chance and hopefully become a regular user of this service! <3
