You know you are dead on about the market manipulation. Big Money will never let the control of the markets and the monetary system fall into the hands of its citizens. We will always be contoled by them as long as we let them. There is so much shit going on under the table. Or over the counter as you put it we will never win. All these icos are just squirrels looking for a nut so they can crawl back iinto their tree holes just like us ,only on a bigger scale.Why do you think they got rid of net neutrality .
