Many books have been written about all the things we know, and they are all very interesting, but it takes a very different kind of interest to look for our limits. Yanofsky takes us to them, explaining what is and will always be out of our grasp. Some of these limits might eventually be pushed further one day, but most of them will never move.
While some of the topics covered get very technical (I actually ended up skipping a whole chapter on computing, that was way beyond my understanding abilities!), the author tries to keep it as simple and accessible as possible.
A good book to keep around.
