If I where a book

If I were a book I want you to read.
My secrets, adventures, mysteries and everything you need
Bring out your emotions as you feed
But not with sticky fingers and an empty greed
Only the ones with the hungry need for knowledge would I want to succeed
If I where a book do keep me neat
Don't use me as a support just for you feet
Because I am just a book and a book wants to read
