Orgullo y Prejuicio por Jane Austen, es un clásico de la literatura inglesa, y en mi opinión, una maravillosa obra y he de comentarles el porqué; pero primero debo aclarar que no es más que una perspectiva, mi pensar sobre el libro, tan sólo una idea entre muchas. Para empezar, la historia gira en torno a dos personajes, La Señorita Elizabeth Bennet y El Señor Darcy, los cuales representan estos aspectos tan humanos como lo son el Orgullo y el Prejuicio, porque aunque estas descripciones no suenen del todo amables, son tan comunes en todos que a veces se nos hacen familiares y no logramos ver el peligro que pueden traer consigo, pues porqué, ¿quién no alberga en sí un sentimientos de autosatisfacción?, la idea que tenemos de nosotros mismos como valiosos a veces puede llegar a desbordarse y confundirse con sentimientos de superioridad ante otros. En cuanto al prejuicio, creo que la mayoría somos prejuiciosos, me incluyo pues, no me parece algo ofensivo, a menos que el prejuicio sea llevado al extremos de limitar nuestra mente. Pero es tan común en el ser humano que lo he llegado a considerar hasta un mecanismo de defensa, y de afiliación en cuanto a nuestro entorno, me explico, cuándo conocemos a alguien, sin querer lo prejuzgamos automáticamente, por su forma de presentarse, su hablar, sus maneras, incluso por su aspecto general, y nos creamos una idea de tal persona, en ese instante no sabemos si es una gran persona o una terrible pero nos hacemos una idea, que puede acercarse a la realidad o ser totalmente opuesta. Este libro es de mis favoritos pues muestra como la naturaleza humana es tan susceptible a dejarse guiar por el orgullo, la vanidad y el prejuicio, y como puede cambiar la idea que tenemos de alguien al realmente conocerla, dejando atrás nuestros prejuicios. De cómo podemos engañar nuestra percepción cuando nuestra vanidad es adulada, palabras dulces no siempre son buenas intenciones. Y la manera en la que una persona puede afectarnos el sentir de modo de abandonar nuestro orgullo por amor.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, is a classic of English literature, and in my opinion, a wonderful work and I have to tell you why; but first I must clarify that it is only a perspective, my thinking about the book, just one idea among many. To begin, the story revolves around two characters, Miss Elizabeth Bennet and Lord Darcy, which represent these aspects as human as are Pride and Prejudice, because although these descriptions do not sound at all friendly, they are so common In all of them, sometimes we are familiar and we can not see the danger they can bring, because why does not host feelings of self-satisfaction? The idea that we have of ourselves as valuable can sometimes overflow. And confused with feelings of superiority before others. Regarding prejudice, I think most of us are prejudiced, I include myself, it does not seem to me to be offensive, unless the prejudice is taken to the extremes of limiting our mind. But it is so common in the human being that I have come to consider it up to a mechanism of defense, and of affiliation in terms of our environment, I mean, when we meet someone, without wanting to automatically prejudge him, by his way of presenting himself, his talk, their manners, even by their general appearance, and we create an idea of such a person, at that moment we do not know if he is a great person or a terrible person but we get an idea, that he can approach reality or be totally opposed. This book is my favorite because it shows how human nature is so susceptible to be guided by pride, vanity and prejudice, and how can change the idea we have of someone to really know it, leaving behind our prejudices. How can we deceive our perception when our vanity is adulated, sweet words are not always good intentions. And the way in which a person can affect us feeling so abandon our pride for love.
