in #bonding10 months ago

Hello hivers! It's been a while since i last posted my very first blog yo. How are y'all doing? I hope your 2024 is as fastastic as i have experienced. Anyways, since this is my very first comeback after a months of not being able to update my account. I have decided to give you all an interesting blog. It's all about the things that i have experienced during my 2024 as a means of an apology to my very long absence. Now, grab your snacks and fasten your seat belt as i take you unto my journey in this fantastic time of the year.
This year has been an amazing year of my life, why? Because this is the very first time i get to visit my auntie's house after a very long time.

My auntie lives in Banilad together with her daughter, Ate dawn, Auntie is the oldest sister of my father. They were very closed when they were young. They've done a lot of fun growing up. My father used to to tell us story about how he and my auntie picks guava fruits during their elementary days and exchange it with a piece of paper.
After dad is done telling us this story he ends it with the words saying, "Pobre rami sauna pero di kabayra'g kwarta among mga kalipay nga naagian". What my dad means is that althought they lack money during that time they are still grateful because they've experienced fun and happiness that even money can't buy.

Dad is a very responsible person he is all that i wan't to become. He and my family is the greatest gift God had given to me. Wait, where were we? hahaha anyways, yeah so i went to my aunties place together with my two cousins and there we spend most of our time talking about beautiful things. We also did a lot drinking, eating and karaoke.

After New Year, we together with my two cousins decided to head back home in cebu to get ready for the opening of the classes.

Continuing my journey back home to Cebu after the delightful time spent with my auntie and cousins in Banilad, I found myself reflecting on the profound significance of family bonds. The warmth of familial connections and the shared laughter lingered in my heart as we embarked on the journey back.

As the wheels turned and the landscape unfolded outside the window, my mind wandered to the stories my father had shared about his childhood escapades with my auntie. These tales were more than nostalgic anecdotes; they were a testament to resilience, creativity, and the enduring power of relationships. I couldn't help but marvel at the simplicity of exchanging guava fruits for a piece of paper, a currency of joy and memories.

Upon reaching Cebu, the hustle and bustle of preparations for the upcoming school year greeted us. The opening of classes marked a return to routine, but the memories of the recent family reunion lingered, infusing a sense of warmth and gratitude into the familiar surroundings. My anticipation for the academic endeavors ahead was now accompanied by a renewed appreciation for the support system that family provides.

As I settled back into the rhythm of daily life, the experiences from Davao continued to shape my perspective. I realized that the richness of life lies not just in grand adventures but also in the shared moments of connection, whether it be through storytelling, laughter, or the simple act of breaking bread together.

In the midst of academic responsibilities, the echoes of karaoke nights and heartfelt conversations with my auntie and cousins served as a source of inspiration. The bond forged during those days was a reminder that, irrespective of the miles that sometimes separate us, family remains an anchor, grounding us in love and shared history.

The blog's narrative extends beyond the mere recounting of events; it becomes a celebration of the intangible treasures—love, laughter, and memories—that weave the fabric of our lives. My father's words, "Pobre rami sauna pero di kabayra'g kwarta among mga kalipay nga naagian," echoed in my mind, reinforcing the enduring truth that true wealth lies in the richness of our experiences and relationships.

As I share this journey with you, dear readers, I invite you to reflect on your own moments of connection and the invaluable tapestry of memories that make up your life. Each interaction, each shared smile, contributes to the mosaic of experiences that shape who we are.

In closing, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for joining me on this reflective adventure. May the stories of joy and resilience inspire you to cherish the simple yet profound moments that make your own 2024 a year to remember. Until next time, happy reading and happy living, fellow hivers!
