I'm still hoping for a big crypto run at some stage this year. We almost had one a few times last year before it came crashing back down every time.
With that said i've kept buying small amounts and kept staking everything possible.
I won't be selling unless the price is right and my crypto is pretty much all on top tier projects at this stage so i'm not worried about them disappearing.
My theory is that the people who have consistently stacked tokens and build their positions over these past few years will do very well at some point in the hopefully near future.
The last time that we had a bull run i did ok but there were people that did brilliantly because they kept adding to their positions while everybody else sold or left the game for a while.
Consistency is one of the most important factors in achieving any goal. When you take small, regular actions, progress becomes steady and manageable instead of overwhelming. Consistency builds discipline, helping you stay focused even when motivation is low. Over time, repeated effort improves skills, confidence, and habits, making success more likely.
It also reduces procrastination, since working regularly feels easier than starting over again and again. Even small steps, when done consistently, add up to meaningful results. By staying consistent, you create momentum, learn from mistakes, and move closer to your goal every day.
Passive income is the goal.
It always has been the goal but you can't do much to effect change on passive income. You hold an asset and it gives you money back.
Very steady and regular returns. I have savings, crypto, stocks and they all give tiny but consistent returns which is great.
What you can effect is income. I can effect my crypto income by turning up on Hive every day and performing consistent actions.
I used to be very consistent but last year took a toll on me with everything else going on in real life. That is something that i can directly effect and will.
There are so many ways to earn money on Hive that I want to keep adding to my bags in the hope of future potential for the chain and for all our bags.
Prices might be down in the gutter but we all know how fast things can change when the markets go green.
Lets all hope for a big 2026 and keep stacking tokens while prices are cheap.

Sometimes I really wonder... It looks too easy to be true, but sometimes, those simple, easy, but CONSISTENT actions make a difference... And when you combine consistency with the compounding effect, you have broken the game!
I know people who were clicking on BTC faucets for pennies back in the days... Doing that religiously, every single day, without looking at the number... and it MADE a huge difference!!!

Consistency is indeed the key factor to success on Hive and also in other aspects of life.
I don't mind the extra money, but I am not here for that.
Just like you we do have crypto, bonds and stocks. My wife takes care of the more safe stuff, I am responsible for the more risky investments, aka crypto. I have pull out everything we did put into it 3 fold. But aren't buying anymore. I do extract from time to time when we go on a holiday to have some extra funds to enjoy it to the max.
Consistency is key, as the saying goes, "Sloth and steady wins the race!"
