Blogging course 02 - What you should consider before you start a blog

Blogging is one of the competitive online business, it is highly competitive that it takes much work and dedication to make something out of it, gone are those days when blogging used to be very easy and take a little post to gain loyal readers and thousands of traffics, people like harsh aragwal and Linda ikeji who started blogging 5 to 7 years ago are making it really good because their domain is already enstablished in google search engine which used to be very simple to be indexed and crawled but today blogging require adequate planning, good financial funding and tactics to beat the competition.
To setup you blog in a professional way so you can make descent income from it then I recommend that you follow this steps accurately.

1. Think of what niche you are very good at.
   Your niche is your passion and your motivator in blogging, it gives you the zeal and the creativity to keep writing, do not go for niche which you are not good at, let say you are very good at fashion and you love fashion, it is better for you to take a niche on fashion than to go for a technological niche which can be so devastating due to lack of knowledge and zeal for such niche and the you will discover that you can deliver relevant and unique articles to your readers, this can ruin your blogging career in days.

2. Choose your domain.
   Domain is like a house address that direct visitor to your house and without this people find it very difficult to locate your house the same is applicable to blogging domain
   Now when choosing a domain make sure it is relation to your niche, take for instance, you have a health niche then your domain should look like these www.health&fit.com or healthpros.com
   Secondly make your domain very short to memorise because of your loyal readers who won't be coming from search engines, they just going to click on the search area and type your web address in just 5-7 seconds.

   Buying of template is very recommended for your website, although free template is also welcomed but it is limited to some extent, that is why you are advised to buy a premium template

2. Make a good design.
   When you talk of design, it is not only applicable to website but our home and business too, giving your home or business a good design easily attract more customers or visitors,
   When you make your site beautify design, it will attract more visitors and loyal reader will be willing to come for more, make your site mobile friendly cos according to statistics, mobile users are more thank laptop user, so make sure your site is mobile friendly.
