Engineering in the View of Quran

Engineering is one of the most important profession in Islam as it occupies a high position. It has been argued that it represents a great part of Allah’s revelation and it was the profession of many Prophets and righteous leaders. It became obvious, that engineering profession is always in service of mankind and it should not at any cost and because of any reason deviated from its noble objectives. Engineering concepts ideas and application as presented in the Quran proven to be vail and in accordance with well-established engineering science and practices. Dhul-Qarnayn’s story in the Quran brought forth many engineering ideas, concepts, and practices. The filling up of the path between the two mountain by fussing iron and melted copper could be considered one of the greatest engineering project in the history of mankind that the Quran recorded its most important circumstances in a brief and high scientific language.
