I once read an article that advised that as soon as you wake up, telling yourself "BRUSH TEETH", and the fact that you have an instant command means that you are motivated to get out of bed and start your day. Apparently it's a good way to beat the snooze habit. If you don't usually brush your teeth in the morning (I don't - I prefer oil pulling) then you can replace the "brush teeth" instruction with some other command. Maybe "Make breakfast" or "take a shower" or whatever. Best of luck with the coming mornings!
