I have a very similar opinion.
Although I am not that heavily invested like others I said to me that what I "earn" on steemit stays on steemit.
So I basically trade all my SBD and power up Steem as fast as I can.
The sbd /steem ratio is great as well so to get to your goal 500,1000,10k steem should be a lot faster then it was before.
