Finally done moving
We had one load left to pick up yesterday and did not pick it up till today because of what happened with my sister-in-law. So this morning we got up and went and picked up the last few items. So glad to have that done. Also got the books and clothes donated that we are not keeping.
We still have too much crap stuff.
We still have way too much. As I unpack I will be purging more things. I really can not wait as the less clutter that is around the happier I am and the cleaner my house is. Seeing this pile of stuff to sort through has me feeling a little overwhelmed.
That pile would not be so bad but we also have this room full of stuff to be unpacked.
Half of this stuff though is garage stuff and or construction things. Hopefully this weekend our storage shed will be up and we will have that studd stored there till our garage is built in a few months.
Shopping trip planned for today
You know how when you buy cheap furniture it can only handle so many moves. Well we lost some of our storage furniture as it was falling apart too much to handle another move. So I am planning on going to find some new pieces. It will make unpacking a whole lot easier.
AHH the joys of moving. I hope I don’t have to do that again for a while.
“Just one more load” turns into 3-4. I swear when I take a load when I’m moving. Someone comes by my house and puts more stuff inside.
Just take it one box at a time. My rule of thumb if we haven’t used it in more than a year or so, we don’t need it. 😉

Big congratulations @technosgirl! moving to a new house can be hectic sometimes because you have to start arranging all over again but its all for the better. How is your sister-in-law doing now, I hope she is better now.
She is doing much better today but has a long road ahead of her
Whole loads of packed stuff....Packing and unpacking scare me.It gives me goosebumps...
21 years of stuff my kids have collected. Momma is about to have a huge rummage sale then donating a crapload more stuff.

I know how you are feeling right now when we moved it was just so much stuff. We had to move about 200 miles so it was even worse. Just remember do not stess so much, it will get done it may be slow but it will surely get done.
Yes I know but currently I am feeling a little overwhelmed but it will get done slowly but surely.
I know that feeling also as I am doing a complete remodel and adding plumbing and electric to the small house. Just do one room of stuff at a time and do not worry about the rest until you get to it. It is not going anywhere. LOL
I am just glad to be moved. So freaking glad..Just in time too we found out our previous landlord wasn't paying the mortgage and the house we were living in is being auctioned off in April or May.
