i had no idea that the thing was over two thousand miles long, incredible.

you just don’t realise how much land/earth we have not traversed.

we are so micro and tiny in our ideals and judgements and the world is so vast.

The Appalachian Trail is a 2,180+ mile long public footpath that traverses the scenic, wooded, pastoral, wild, and culturally resonant lands of the Appalachian Mountains. Conceived in 1921, built by private citizens, and completed in 1937, today the trail is managed by the National Park Service, US Forest Service, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, numerous state agencies and thousands of volunteers.

Just to even see a part of it was special. i'm sure i'll get to go back and do another part. I can't imagine what that kinda feels like as a life achievement to walk the whole thing, that seems like a real grind but i bet you meet some incredible people.

we certainly need more good people in the world. the ones with real heart and souls of love rather than the black hearts of the digital flashing led robots. nature is the first place i go to restore the soul these days and so should you.

. .. remember, bubo got ya back!
