Here in southeast Texas where it is normally hot and sticky for most of the year we do have some relief coming and that relief is October and November. The next sixty days pretty much would be called “chamber of commerce weather”, if a business is looking to move to the area this is the preferred time to come check out southeast Texas.
High temperatures will still reach the low 80’s with night time lows in the mid 50’s and the humidity eases off a bit as well. The cattle love this time of year because the grass is still actively growing and there is normally a nice breeze that helps keep the flies and mosquitoes off of them.
The State fair of Texas kicks off now up in Dallas, as well as the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville,TX. also high school and college football is in full swing. There is no lack of outside activities and the weather is perfect this time of year.
So if you have ever thought about coming to Texas now is the time. Pack your bags and gitty up little doggie….
Until next time,
@sultnpapper
I've never been to Texas. Flown over it, en route to another destination, but haven't been on the ground there. Are you going to the State Fair?
Not this year, going to the Renaissance festival this year. We alternate them each year.
Hope you bring back some pics! 😊
