I find your outlook a very positive one. I think more or less the same. I also want to matter, to leave a mark, to touch those around me and let the ripples of my existence spread throughout the years. But for that to have meaning, I must also enjoy what I do, and enjoy the process that takes me there.
Mind over matter... It's true, in a way, though I feel it's more "WIll over matter" than mind. One must want, then act, then reality takes shape.
