¡Good morning, Steemians! After a somewhat long break, I return today to blog about a matter that bugs me lately: When blogging in Steemit, ¿is it better to write about various subjects, or keep focused in one or two?
Depending on who I ask, the answers are diverse, generally opposing each other. Some Steemians state that it is actually better to blog about a lot of subjects, due to the possibility of getting new followers to your blog, and making the Resteem feature even more effective (A lot of readers would read your posts, and if you have followers with different interests, theoretically you could reach more readers if compared to a limited set of subjects in your blog).
On the other hand, some Steemians say that it is actually better to focus on one or two subjects. ¿why? Because if you have a specific set of subjects, your followers would be always expecting more specialized content from you. If you blog about a lot of things, it would be harder to make Steemians to follow you. (If I want to read about gaming and technology, why would I follow someone who blogs about gaming and technology…but also about cooking, gardening, travelling?)
It’s actually an interesting matter, with both points of view being logical. ¿What do you guys think?
