Thought Of The Day

THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE ONE OF MY THOUGHTS FROM TODAY

So today at lunch time, since it was such a lovely day, I decided to have lunch outside under a tree in the car park at work (at an aged care facility). The birds were out and the sun was shining. Off in the distance I could see a lady heading my way dragging two suit cases behind her. She was heading to her car. As she reached the vehicle she then proceeded to open the boot of the vehicle, placed both suit cases in and began to sort through them.

At this stage I'm thinking OK her mum has passed away, poor lady she must be devastated. She made two piles out of the contents contained in the suit cases. By the time she had sorted them, she had placed the jewellery and money in one pile and clothing, photo's and memorabilia in the other. The lady then proceeds to pick up the valuables and places them on the passengers seat of her car. Then grabs the clothing, photos etc and places them in the skip bin, no more than 20 meters from where her mum had passed.

So, I began to think everything we hold valuable in our life is trash to everyone else. At the end we are just disposed of as we are of no value and in the end there is only love for money. So in conclusion I would like to encourage you all to tell your family that you love them. Let's start to revalue love. I tell my wife and two boys every day. It's not hard There's a saying money won't keep you warm at night, this is not so true these day as air condition can keep you warm it just costs you money but money will not love you back.
