Tesla Model 3 sales in August hit an estimated 17,800 units. Not is it a significantly huge number for Tesla, but it also happens to be an all-time high figure for any plug-in electric car.
In case you are wondering how that number stack up against the competition, well, here's a short answer - Tesla has outsold BMW. Yes, the Tesla Model 3 outsold all BMW passenger cars in the US and Canada in August. BMW only managed to sell around 15,000 passenger cars in the month of August.
I'm assuming this had a lot to do with the price. Maintenance will kill you though with the Tesla. Already bad enough for BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and VW but goodluck with a model 3
