ITS JUST A SANITARY 'PAD'

Its just a sanitary pad
Nobody talks ,
everybody whisper.

Yes , I m talking about sanitary pads .

In India menstrual cycle is topic on which no one can talk boldly but every body whispers about this.

This is biological process in females which happens after every 28 days and while going through this they loose so much of blood and suffer pain.

I m a Brahman boy .when ever my sister or my mother go through their menstrual cycle, they are not allowed to enter in kitchen because it is a Orthodox thinking that they are impure when ever menstrual cycle arrive and I want to know that why?

In India it's written outside of some temple that girl or women going through this are not allowed same question arrive why?

Asking the same from a few I got.to know that it's because in earlier times, there were no such things like pad were available and it was just cotton or cloth for them . That's why most of the time they ended up with red strains on their clothes . Hence , they avoided places like temple or anything.

But now, according to me it's just a myth and we have to do some thing to make people believe that it's just a normal biological process.

When ever girl go through this,and they suffer immense pain and what not and being a boy we can not understand what they actually go through. so at least we can make a world that make them feel more comfortable during this time.

So,They can easily speak on such topic not just with female but male also and it's not something which is a problem it's us and our society which made this thing as a issue.

You will always find people hiding them or covering the sanitary pad with paper or black poly bag like its some kind of drug or something!!!
I want to ask
why we are doing this?
What are we ashamed of? Why are we creating such a taboo over this ?

I always wanted to do something about this thing and create awareness about it.
And today I got my inspiration from
a Bollywood movie recently released and that movie is all based on a.man struggling to create awareness on how important it is to avoid clothes and use sanitary pad. which is like a great achievement because now people are more likely to change and talk normally about such things to the women in need more easilyAnd help them better without making them uncomfortable
