Mental game of fitness

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

There’s no doubt that deciding to workout is a battle in its own. But sometimes it seems like World War III has just begun inside your head when you finish that first rep, set, or half mile.

Having that mental battle between
“why the (bleep) am I doing this?!”
and
“you better not stop!”
With almost 4 years in the fitness game I’m here to tell you, with hard work and effort it doesn’t get easier. Some days you won’t feel like going to the gym at 6am or even 6pm, or your certainty about hitting that rep is out the window.

But you cannot give up! Tame that voice inside your head who says “you aren’t strong enough”. That is the same voice who begs you to stop running, tells you it hurts, and cries like a little b****.

With taming that limiting voice, you will be able to push yourself past what you believe is possible and succeed. Get out of your head, work hard, believe in yourself and you will accomplish anything you set your mind to. Wether that is to set a new personal record on the bench, squat machine or on your mile run. Loose X amount of pounds. Or to just have a body that you love! You can do it. Push past your limiting beliefs!

Much love xoxo
