Sometimes it feels as though a non-thinking man, working a 9-5 job, having food and sex and sleeping has a better life than us lot who think.
"Where but to think is to be full of sorrow.
And leaden-eyed despairs"
-Keats
A similar folklore is prevlent in Malayalam (South Indian) tradition. A character named Narayanathu Bhranthan (Madman Narayan) rolls a rock up a hill only resulting in the rock rolling back down. He carries on this process throughout the day. But the main difference between the stories of Sisyphus and Narayanathu Bhranthan is that Narayanathu Bhranthan did it on his own will, because of his "madness". I would like to hear your views on this.
