Afternoon Foodies,
I saw this advertised a couple of weeks ago, but every time my husband went to get it for me, it was never in store. I was so pleased he managed to get it for me yesterday. I couldn't wait to see what this danish pastry was all about.

Well I have to say this was worth the wait. The pastry was very flaky and there was no soggy Botton. There was a decent about of peach too. They were so soft and juicy. There were proper thick slices too, not little chunks that you get with some desserts. The caramel custard was so good too. Very smooth and it went very well with the peached. Good amount of flaked almonds too. I hope I will get to eat them again.
I am currently craving apricot pastry and I haven't found anything in the supermarkets. If the peaches were replaced with apricot, then I definitely would make sure I got two boxes, not one!
It's a good thing you finally got to taste the pastry, it looks so inviting and yummy.
