HI Everyone!!!
I've been a dog lover all my life. Growing up I lived with Rottweilers and German Shepherds, both great dogs!!! 3 years ago I noticed my neighbor accidentally had a litter of American Bulldogs. As a kid watching the movie "Sandbox" and cartoon show Tom & JerryI have always a bad misconception of bulldog. I always thought they are grumpy dogs that like to be by themselves. Boy was I wrong!!!
My dog's name is Roscoe below is a picture of him!!!
He's very social dog. I found this out right after I took him home. We were throwing a Halloween party and at the time he was only 5 months old. Let me tell you he was the life of the party. He introduced himself to everyone at the party and wasn't shy one bit.
This is during xmas time we took him to a local park to meet other dogs.
If anyone is thinking of a dog please research American Bulldogs. You do need some type of experience with dogs because they can challenge you at times (not in a violent way). You have to make him well aware of who the pack leader is from time to time.
Some great attributes are:
Loyal
Friendly
Love to cuddle (great for sleeping in)
Active and playful - Loves having a job to do
Craves constant attention - as you can see in my pictures he is not camera
Keeps a constant eye on his family
Has a strong bond with his/her owner - You feel it the moment you take them home
Don't let the bad stigma from keeping you away from this type of dog. You can't go wrong!!!! =)
