Introduction BLOG!!!! Glad to join the family!

Everyone HI!!!

My name is Jonathan Garcia @phixit I'm really excited to be part of this amazing community!!! I live in Rhode Island, where people think we only have 1 bank in the entire State and people mostly think of Family Guy. I just turned 32 years old last month and I'm really starting to feel old. Mostly due to some white hairs that are growing in.

My favorite hobby is basketball! If you want to find me I'm usually in some league (Now an over 30 league) =/

I graduated with an accounting degree and have worked for multiple companies in the finance world. I have learned a great deal over the past 10 years but I'm tired of the office job. Not enough freedom. As a hobby I repair homes and sell them, like how they do it on HGTV. Let me tell you it's not as easy as they make it seem on the shows. If anyone needs any advice or help shoot me message. I've been doing it for 8 plus years but only as a hobby. I usually do 2 a year because I don't have the bandwidth with a full time job.

Because of being in housing sector I've noticed that contractor pricing have been all over the place, needing to get 3 quotes for everything to make sure I am getting charge correctly. Mostly because I have no idea what things should cost. SO I decided to venture in the app space and started working on an app that will create an auction based setting for jobs based on the pictures/videos that customers post. This is very different from Angie's list and Home Advisor. Trust me, I've heard that comment a lot before they actually see my designs. Long story short I'm in the middle of working on the concept and I need people's opinions. I feel this community would be perfect for ideas and what can be improved. To be in this community you have to have an open mind and accept change and always looking into the future. I really need help!!!!! check out my website to give you an idea. www.mypixit.com. As far as music I'll listen to just about anything. My father grew up listening to Queen so I'm a big Queen fan. Their music is amazing!!!!! I listen to rap/urban music and I'm also a big fan of EDM. I usually go to Ultra Miami in March. It's great to take a break from the cold weather. If anyone wants to link up in Miami at the festival let me know!!!!

I recently traveled to Colombia in South America. I had the best time traveling each corner of the country. Just picture Jurassic Park. The palm trees and animals are so exotic. Here are some of the pictures. Colombia has the tallest palm trees in the world.
