Randonautica has been showing up very frequently in my YouTube feeds and I have to admit, the concept is rather appealing. There's something intriguing about going on a journey that's lead by a quantum generated white rabbit. I'm certainly not naive enough to believe all the outrageous content that surrounds the app. However, I do think it can lead people to find all sorts of interesting places and things that may have never been discovered otherwise.
I've been toying with the idea of starting my own records of my experiences and discoveries through Randonautica. I highly doubt they will be as interesting or as outrageous as many have claimed but it may be a fun little venture - at least for me.
The thing is, I don't have any experience with this app and from the few tests I have done it generates locations within a very small area from your location. I wonder if it would be better to move to a farther afield before running it to get a better experience. Also, safety is an issue. Unless I could get someone to agree to come with me I don't think I'd feel comfortable.
Ah well. I'll only find out through trial and error.
