1 - Viewfinder: The way to view pictures

The main difference is that the SLR, the pants of the single lens relex and the mirror that reflect the image of the viewfinder lens. In simple words, you can capture the correct image, which you can see through the SLR camera viewfinder.
On the other hand, the normal camera has an electronic or LCD viewfinder that is offset from the lens and the viewfinder does not match the photo. Like when you see something and capture it, it can not match it. If there is still a problem to understand, see the following information-graphic:

2 - Image quality with ISO level

Good quality images are coming, with DSLR camera you can take a lot of good quality pictures in much less light. Because of the photographic lens which improves the quality of image sensor and exposure to photo quality. Check the image from a DSLR camera in the dark of night,

On the other hand, digital cameras require flash in low light areas, photo quality or lags. Check out a similar image taken from a digital camera

3 - Camera construction (shutter, aperture and lens)

The body construction of a DSLR camera makes it completely different from the normal camera. DSLR cameras are extremely heavy, where you can attach a canon EF 600mm lens and go to take pictures. Ha ha ha! Make fun
The DSLR camera has a shutter, aperture and lens which is the physical element of this camera, so the DSLR camera makes the camera big and expensive.

Although the size of the normal digital camera is small and easy to carry. They do not have any mirror components like any body shutter or DRSLR, so a compact construction and less expensive.

For those who do not focus on all points above, a brief summary of DSLR and general camera differences:

  • DSLR viewfinder is different from normal digital cameras.
  • DSLR cameras work better in low light, where digital camera pictures are grains, in low light
  • DSLR cameras are more expensive and costly than digital cameras.
