I have been chosen to dance

¡Hello!

Today I come to tell you about another important aspect of my life: The Dance.

As I mentioned in my previous post, my interest in art was null (dance was also included in this). I listened to music as a child, but I did not try to or manage to dance to her rhythm. I remember that my family told me that by the time I turned 15 I had to learn to dance. And that's how they enrolled me in a casino salsa academy, (where I only lasted 1 month hahaha). And after this failed attempt for me, I did not dance again as such for many years (only on specific occasions).

A few years ago, a cousin invited me to go to church (at that time I had been through very strong situations in my personal life and I was very, very sad), and I decided to go with her. The first thing that caught my attention was the dance (I had never seen a church that had dancers!). Since then, I started to get interested in this art, I searched for tutorials to perform the steps well. (I even looked for dance academies!)

On one occasion, they opened the inscriptions to enter the dance group of the church, and for a moment I wanted to run to register, but out of fear and because I did not know how to do things, I did not do it. (And you can not imagine how much I regretted not doing it!). I had to wait A full year! to reopen the inscriptions. (Obviously I did not waste this second opportunity)

The girls in the dance group trained me in everything, (theoretical and practical). It was a totally new world for me, everything was so new to me that I started thinking "what did I do?" But in my 3 years as a dancer in the Kadosh dance group of the Genesaret Christian Community, I can say that they have been part of my formation, not only spiritual, but that has also led me to mature and not to give up. I learned that not everything It is technical or look good and beautiful (Although technique and order is important), but you learn to be used by God and it is where you realize that it is the Grace of God that makes you reach the hearts of the people who are in front of you.

Now, for me, dance is a way of life, a form of worship God.

The place where I found my best friends, my sisters.

I have been chosen, set apart and created to dance for Him.
