Moving Day

I've slacked a little in posting here on steemit.
With our house being sold, we had to take immediate action and move into a new home.
I intended on putting up a video or two, and a few attempts at my 2nd #CallYouOut challenge for #steemskate, but moving took up most of my time.

Zoo Trip

In the downtime of all the chaos in my week, I was able to go with my youngest son on his field trip to the zoo.
It's not that big of a zoo, since I live in bfe, but it was still a fun experience I got to enjoy with my family.

I didn't really have the camera out for many pictures, it was the experience that I wanted the most instead of looking through a lens. I do have a few snaps, though, for a small glimpse of our day.




There was also a sculpture garden, which had some fascinating work..a few almost reminded me of junk art, which I have a great love for.

And of course, there was a train ride around part of the park. My son's absolute obsession with trains is what kept his focus for most of our visit, probably a factor in why not many pictures were taken.
He enjoyed the train ride, and was excited to see the animals it took us past..such as camels, spider monkeys (which I had no idea were a real thing), cheetahs, wolves, and the aviary..which had toucans and I thought that was just effing cool! Toucan Sam!!
