Steemians! I missed you.
I cannot wait to be fully back, blogging, vlogging, sharing everything that's going on with you, but I guess once I can announce the exciting news I have been hinting at for a few months now, you'll excuse my absence.
Meanwhile... in 3 days I will be back on travel adventures for a few days exploring a different continent.
Can you guess what country? (Comment below - Winner gets a Shoutout)
Anyways..
today I want to share with you a chapter from a classic book you probably know already:
Yes! The 48 laws of power. If you haven't read it yet, make sure to order it right away. I read this book quite a long time ago, but for some reason today I remembered one particular chapter as I was thinking about the timing of life.
The reason I was thinking about the timing of life today is, because once again multiple things happened in my life that showed me the importance of timing first-hand. You can call it coincidence, intuition, luck or anything else, but when you really think about why things sometimes happen the way they do it very often comes down to the mystery of timing.
I'm sure you know plenty of those incidents in your life where something would or wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the right timing. From accidents, to relationships, to successes.. you name it!
Timing is something very mysterious, just like the idea of time in general.
We cannot explain what it really is, some say it's always there others say it's limited and again others would argue that it's an artificial concept that only exists in our minds. But one thing we can say for sure is that it is given much importance and significance by many people.
I am fascinated by the concept of time!
But I'm even more fascinated by timing!
"You may delay, but time will not."
- Benjamin Franklin
Think about it...no matter how good you are at catching trends or being an early adapter, if you just recognize the opportunity but fail to act upon it and take advantage of the right moment, you will fail.
In marketing this is huge, especially nowadays where trends are constantly changing and at a rapid pace like never before. If you are good at spotting trends before others do, you are gifted and have the natural ability, just like singing or dancing. But just like with any great ability: You must know how to utilize it and unleash its full potential. And for that reason I am bringing back the...
LAW # 35 : Master the Art of Timing
The 35th law of power tells the story of a French seminary-school teacher, Joseph Fouche who was gifted with the sense of timing. At went from being a revolutionary, to becoming a moderate and later on a radical. He served King Louis XVIII and then Napoleon. He knew how to move and especially WHEN to move. He managed to escape imprisonment and even death, because of timing only. What played a huge part is that he did not simply rely on his natural ability, but he practiced it as a skill.
3 lessons to be learned from the Fouche story:
1. Work with the spirits of the times
It is of key importance that we anticipate what is about to happen so that we can plan the perfect time to make our next move.
2. Prevailing winds do not always require that we run with them
If there is prevailing conflict or turmoil, it is not always best that we ride with it. We must anticipate what the effect of it would be before taking any action.
3. We must have remarkable patience.
Patience is any person’s best ally. Waiting may seem irritable but it is worth it because in the end, we may get something significant to our advantage.
“Since we have constructed the concept of time, we are also able to mold it to some degree, to play tricks with it.” The ability to do this is a tremendous gift so we must always learn to use it wisely and to our benefit. We must never let go to whatever time brings. This is why there is no reversal for this law. Allowing time to control us is a fatal move. We must be the ones guiding time instead of the other way around. If we can do this, time will surely carry us to power.
I want to leave you with this: Trust in the timing of your life! Don't wait, but move patiently. And that is literally one of the most important life lessons to learn and misunderstood concepts to understand. You can trust in the timing of life, while being aware and recognizing your power to guide it.
I personally know that when I feel aligned, let go of any frustration and make the conscious decision to go with the flow, work hard but effortlessly, do everything whilst being patient... life works in my favor and I can sense the art of timing. Positive and sometimes negative things happen because of timing and I cannot say it's something that can be fully mastered, because it still remains a mystery to me how people who seem to be "meant to be" meet through the most random circumstances and there are many more examples... BUT timing can be recognized, prepared for and patiently awaited. And btw. right now is great timing to buy some coins! The coin market is already recovering.
Question OTD: What are your thoughts on "the right timing"?
Much love,
- Mrs.Steemit

Glad you did!
South America
I'd love to! But not this time..
Timing is indeed, everything. Although the cryptocurrency craze has been hot for some time, those getting involved with Bitcoin or other ICOs over the past few months may be feeling some pain. Those that bought in at $4-5000 a token are experiencing huge losses.
Compare this to investors who purchased Bitcoin back in January or February. Even with the 35% pullback, these fortunate souls are still sitting on large potential gains.
So what now? Is the timing right to make that first purchase, or to add to your portfolio? Or is it time to sell, collect what profits remain, or to remain on the sidelines awaiting a lower price to get in?
Timing. It can make or break you in so many ways, but we never know until it has passed. Cheers!
Very interesting example. I agree that right timing can never be predicted with certainty, but the crypto market is actually a great example of learning how to master the art of timing. The right timing = buying when the price drops and everyone else would get scared, buy low and sell high. It's the one strategy that works.. great traders are actually "timing artists" if you will so..
Nice one: "timing artists"
The right timing has a lot to do with how our lives will turn out, timing is everything. OK my guess is your going to Australia?
I agree & nope not going to Australia, but I'd love to in the near future.

You are in Germany? :)
Time is very mysterious because we are not able to stop it. We can slow it down by traveling with the speed of light. But the true meaning of time will never been discovered. Same as gravity, a power that seems to be weak but also strong. The universe is full mysterious and paradox.
Thank you for your post, upvoted and followed!
Yes I'm in Germany, and was planning on going to the States (but that got cancelled due to Hurricane Irma), so nope my next trip will be somewhere else. Love your added points about time! "The universe is mysterious and paradox" Yes! Thanks :)

all of it is about the timing and to cope with it ,and as for the tips they were helpful and will apply them in certain fields
Nice article and so is the explanation :)
Love your post! Mainly because it talked about an extremely important element- our time. Time is money for sure and if you make good use of your time and the different opportunities it brings with itself, you are golden. On the topic of time, I love this quote: Be careful who your invest your time in. Nothing is worst than wasted time. It's the one thing you can't get back.'
Another thing I liked about your post is that you described everything in detail. You actually provided us with a lot of value and went into depth of every point you mentioned. This is one important lesson I'll incorporate in my posts from now onwards.
Syncronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see it. Carl Jung.
I did not know that the art of mastering the timing exists in this world. I thought we are just slave of the time and have to accpet whatever happens but your post has changed my mind set about it and soon I will order this book and read it. I will surely start to practice the art of timing.
