When I was still in college, I had a lot of plans. Like, I will apply in a bank, will work in a big company, will work abroad, and so on.
After I graduate in April, 20 years old, my parents started nagging me that I should find a work right away. But, I rested for a month. My reason was I studied for 16 years. 1 month of rest is a reward for doing a great job.
I started looking for job at June. It was tough. The companies that I applied for wanted to have an employee that has a lot of experience. I had no chance. But, I did not give up. I continued sending my resume online, walking around the town the whole day giving my resume personally. That was my routine for 2 weeks.
Luckily, I was hired in a cellphone company as a sales agent. It was hard. We were standing 8 hours a day, for 6 days. I was only employed for 4 months because I thought I deserve a better job.
Fortunately, I had an opportunity to work in a bank. That was my happiest day. Salary is good, co-workers are friendly, and everything was perfect. But, I was not regularized after 5 months of working. It was such a sad day. :(
After a few months, I changed my career. I worked in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company. At first, it was fun. My workmates became my friends. AND, salary was so good. But as time goes by, one by one, they resigned. I work in the night shift from 8:30pm to 6:00am. After 9 months, I needed to resign also because my work is affecting my health.
Right now, I am teaching English. I am choosing my schedule on what time I would like to work. And yes, I love my job. ☺
