Whenever I'm in a neighborhood where there's a predominant race - I feel really uncomfortable. Mostly because I grew up in one of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in the world - Jackson Heights, New York City.
It doesn't matter if the neighborhood is all latino, black, white - whatever, I feel out of my element. I grew up in a place where diversity is the norm and accepted - it's all I knew.
Sure there's still work to be done in this country, but I think it's safe to say that overall Martin Luther King Junior succeeded in his dream.
Beautiful, thank you so much friend for sharing this moment
You're welcome. Hope you're doing well!
Which one is you?
