Another year has passed and I believe it was one of those days that I had to make memorable.
Went to Woodinville and helped a friend harvest kalabasa. The night before, the temperature was below 30 degrees and she didn't plan ahead to cover her crops. So, an early harvest.
The zoey onions didn't grow so we harvested the tiny buds...and yes those are "weeds" dandelion. I had to explain to her that it is medicinal and delish to eat. Plus a great liver detoxer.
We harvested so many vegetables and pickled zoey onions, cucumbers and jalapaneos. I plan to make jam out of the tomatoes. Wish me luck!

This guy, I'm not sure what kind of caterpillar he is, but he sure is cute.
